Privacy Policy

Effective July 31, 2026

I’d Eat That provides meal discovery, household meal planning, grocery lists, and optional community recipe features. This policy explains the information used to provide those services.

Information we collect

How we use information

We use this information to create and secure accounts, synchronize household data, operate app features, filter recipes for declared allergies and preferences, personalize meal suggestions, verify subscription access, moderate community submissions, troubleshoot problems, and provide support.

Service providers

Supabase processes authentication, application data, and private pending photo storage on our behalf. Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement records so the app can verify subscription access. These providers process information under their own privacy terms and the agreements that apply to their services.

Sharing, selling, and tracking

We do not sell personal information and do not use personal information for cross-app advertising tracking. Information may be shared with a connected household member where needed for shared plans, grocery lists, and household features. Approved community submissions may be displayed to other users as described when you submit them.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while it is needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the service. You can permanently delete your account and associated personal data from Profile inside the app. Submitted meal photos are deleted with your account. If you leave a shared household, genuinely shared planning and grocery data may remain available to the remaining household members.

Your choices

You can change food preferences and allergies, manage household connections, sign out, restore purchases, manage an App Store subscription, or delete your account inside the app. You may also contact us to ask a privacy question or request help.

Children’s privacy

I’d Eat That is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
